Ratatak

Ratatak is local multiplayer game for 2-4 players on controller. You play as mice and you try to kill other players and eat cheese to gain score points! Easy concept :) 

Disclaimer: I know, there are bugs in my game and that maybe some things arent really clear. I am working on it :)

So, go get your friend, get your controllers and try playing this great game! Mice make cute squeaky sounds when they do anything! There are these "mouse holes" (teleports) which make the game even more interesting, because they are randomized. There is option to knockback (Y button) your friends! and i also added dash (RT), which you can perform in every direction! Please write feedback, if you play the game :) it would help me with my future projects.

Basic Info:

Platforms: PC (with controller)

Time: each round is 3 mins long (there are two levels, but you can play them on repeat)

Controls:

Left stick - Movement

Start - pause menu (hold, also hold every button in pause menu for select)

RT - dash

X - attack

Y - knockback (only when other player is close)

A - jump (useless)

B - connecting (hold)

About Game:

It was my school project and my second game ever made (the first one is "Memoria", which you can find on my profile) I worked on this game alone (with some help from my teachers, and others, which I am going to mention later) for about 4 months. Dont expect anything big and awesome from visuals and sounds and stuff... 

Anyways, I am really thankful for everybody, who was with me during the process of making this game. I am thankful for my teachers Filip Dufka, Tereza Koudelková and Ondřej Klus. I also wanna thank my family, for support and for soundtrack, which we made together. And in the end I wanna thank my classmates, also for support, playtesting, feedbacks (and for helping me with my scripts - Dan Zelenka). 

Game is inspired by my past, where me and my brothers played together online local multiplayer games. I could not find any more games like this (except for Fireboy and watergirl) so I decided to make something that we could play once again and bring back the nostalgia :)
